HATRED TOWARDS CHRISTIANS

By RW Touchton

 Why do non-believers hate Christians?

  1. Because unbelievers don't want to believe that Jesus Christ is as he said in John 14:6: ["I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."] The Christian understands that Jesus states that he is THE WAY, whereas the unbeliever patronizes the liberal political correctness-mania and believes Jesus to be A WAY to God (The Father, The Master of the Universe.) Christian's believe these words in John to be the actual words of Our Lord. However, the unbeliever says that the fathers of the church changed the indefinite article "a" to the definite article "the" for control purposes.
  2. Because Jesus commanded, in Mark 16:15: ["Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. (16) Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.] (KJV says damned.) The Christian sees this as a bidding to have compassion to share the Good News since the choice is between Life and Death and not a preference of Religions. However, the unbeliever sees this bid as a condition of pride to obtain more followers for religious purposes and Christians are cramming their religion down people's throats.
  3. Because in Matthew 5:11 Jesus apprised: ["Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me."] He knew that since they persecuted him that they would do it to his followers.
  4. Because 1 John 2: 19:says: [Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.] The unbeliever does not understand that this hatred, which springs up inside of him is not his own, rather a seed marinated in Satan's venom. Verse 22 speaks of him: [Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son.]
  5. Because the Christian sees the time is now, as written in 2 Timothy 4:3 [For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. (4) They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. The non-believer is deceived into a spiritual circus as Satan dangles his crystals of healing and psychic powers in human nature and emulates God's love and concern for mankind. 2 Corinthians 11:14 [And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. (15) It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.] Blinded by the light they come as the Oysters in Lewis Carroll's

The Walrus and the Carpenter: (excepts)

'O Oysters, come and walk with us!'
The Walrus did beseech.
'A pleasant walk, a pleasant talk,
Along the briny beach:
We cannot do with more than four,
To give a hand to each.'

The eldest Oyster looked at him,
But never a word he said
The eldest Oyster winked his eye,
And shook his heavy head--
Meaning to say he did not choose
To leave the oyster bed.

But four young Oysters hurried up,
All eager for the treat:
Their coats were brushed, their faces washed,
Their shoes were clean and neat--
And this was odd, because, you know,
They hadn't any feet.

Four other Oysters followed them,
And yet another four;
And thick and fast they came at last,
And more, and more, and more--
All hopping through the frothy waves,
And scrambling to the shore.

'The time has come,' the Walrus said,
'To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings.'

And after they were fat and tired and out of breath from the straying away from their bed, the Walrus and the Carpenter ate them all up.

'It seems a shame,' the Walrus said,
'To play them such a trick,
After we've brought them out so far,
And made them trot so quick!'

Every man and woman has a choice. The Christian can't possible take that choice from them. They can only work to be sure that every man, woman and child have the correct data for making a decision, not of religions and spiritual persuasion, but one of Life and Death.
